How to add, edit, or remove forwarding recipients
Manage your destination inboxes so your masks forward to the right personal or work email accounts.
A recipient is a real, verified email address that receives the emails forwarded by your masks. You can add multiple inboxes (like your personal Gmail, work Outlook, or Proton) so different masks go to different places.
Primary vs. Additional Recipients
- Primary Recipient — The email address you signed up with. It is your default forwarding destination, receives billing alerts, and cannot be deleted.
- Additional Recipients — Extra inboxes you add. Starter and Pro accounts include up to 3 inboxes; Max and Pay-As-You-Go include up to 5 inboxes.
How to add a new recipient
- 1Open Dashboard → Recipients from the sidebar (or visit
/dashboard/recipients). - 2Click the Add Recipient button at the top right.
- 3Type your real email address into the input field.
- 4Click Save Recipient. The new inbox is immediately ready to receive forwarded mail from any mask.
How to edit an existing recipient
- 1Go to Dashboard → Recipients.
- 2Locate the recipient inbox you want to change.
- 3Click the Edit (pencil) button next to the address.
- 4Enter the updated email address and save. All masks currently routed to this recipient will immediately forward to the new address.
How to remove a recipient
- 1Go to Dashboard → Recipients.
- 2Click the Delete (trash) button next to the additional inbox you want to remove.
- 3Confirm the deletion in the prompt.
If any masks were routed to a deleted recipient, Maskr automatically falls back to your primary account email so you never miss an incoming message.
