How to set or change the recipient for a specific mask
Assign different masks to different real inboxes to keep work, personal, and shopping organized.
Maskr lets you route each mask to a specific verified inbox. For example, you can send newsletter masks to a secondary reading inbox, online order masks to a finance inbox, and job application masks to your main email—all while keeping your real addresses 100% private.
Option 1: Choose recipient when creating a new mask
- 1Go to Dashboard → Email Masks and click Generate New Mask.
- 2Under the Forward To dropdown, select the recipient inbox you want this mask to deliver to.
- 3Customize your prefix/label or click Randomize.
- 4Click Generate Mask. Any email sent to this mask will now forward directly to your chosen destination.
Option 2: Change recipient on an existing mask
- 1Open Dashboard → Email Masks.
- 2Find the mask card you want to re-route.
- 3Click the Edit button (or expand the mask details).
- 4Select a new destination from the Forward To dropdown.
- 5Click Save Changes. Future emails to this mask will immediately route to the new inbox.
