Standard masks vs. privacy subdomains
When to use a random mask and when to use your own username subdomain.
A standard mask lives on the shared domain, for example shopping@maskr.online. A privacy subdomain lives on your personal handle, for example anything@yourname.maskr.online.
How catch-all works on the fly (no dashboard visit needed)
With privacy subdomains, you never have to open the dashboard before signing up for a service:
- 1Whenever a website asks for your email, simply make up an address on the spot:
<website>@yourusername.maskr.online(for exampleairbnb@alex.maskr.onlineorspotify@alex.maskr.online). - 2The website sends its confirmation email to that address.
- 3Maskr catches the incoming email, automatically provisions the mask on the fly, labels it with the website name, and forwards it to your verified inbox.
- 4The next time you open Dashboard → Email Masks, the new mask is already active in your list, ready to pause, edit, or delete whenever you want.
Multiple subdomains
Paid plans include extra username subdomains (Starter: 6, Pro: 16, Max & Pay-As-You-Go: 51). You can manage them in Settings → Account Privacy Username.
Your primary username is created at signup and cannot be deleted. Deleted usernames enter a permanent quarantine so no one else can ever claim them.
